Get to Know Me

Hi, I’m Tania, the face behind Rested and Resilient, but first and foremost I’m a wife and mom of three. I started out as a teacher, fell in love with behavior science, and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). But nothing quite prepared me for the reality of early motherhood: the beauty, the chaos, and the exhaustion of it all.

Becoming a mom sparked a deep interest in the postpartum experience, and that curiosity only grew as our family did. Over time, I came to realize that my background in behavior science gave me a unique foundation to support other moms navigating this season of life. What began as a personal mission to survive sleepless nights turned into a calling to help other families do the same.

At Rested and Resilient, I offer sleep support that’s rooted in behavior science (yes, data is my love language). I use a gentle, responsive approach called Association Fading™—based on proven behavioral principles but delivered with zero judgment, plenty of grace, and a good dose of flexibility (because, let’s be real—life with kids doesn’t always follow a plan).

Even with all my training, I know what it’s like to feel unsure and overwhelmed—juggling wake windows, second-guessing every decision, and wondering if you're doing it “right.” Motherhood is messy, even when you know the science. That’s why I focus on building sleep habits that are not only effective but sustainable—and align with your families values. You don’t need to do everything perfectly. You just need

support that’s rooted in science, tailored to your real life, and focused on what matters most—connection, rest, and resilience.

The Rested and Resilient Approach

As a mom and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, I know how overwhelming sleep struggles can be—especially when the advice out there feels all-or-nothing. You want rest, but not at the expense of connection. You want support, but not a one-size-fits-all method.

That’s exactly why I use Association Fading™, a unique, responsive approach that helps your baby adjust to new sleep routines while keeping you close and involved.

Unlike traditional sleep training methods that rely on separation or rigid timelines, Association Fading™ is designed to work with your baby’s natural sleep patterns. It gently reduces their dependence on external sleep associations (like rocking or feeding to sleep) in a way that feels manageable—for both of you.

There may be some tears, but you’re not stepping away—you’re staying emotionally available and supportive as your child learns what to expect. This approach honors your role as a nurturing parent while helping your little one gain confidence in their ability to settle and rest.

It's not about forcing sleep or ignoring needs. It’s about creating a calm, connected path to more consistent rest—for your baby, and for you.

With thoughtful guidance, science-backed tools, and a whole lot of compassion, I’m here to help you move toward better sleep—one peaceful step at a time.
